Discs now feature Safe Lock - a special techno polymer that maximises locking torque, eliminates micro movements and cuts vibration. Quick release plates now feature Safe Grip, a high grip material that holds your equipment safely and prevents it from moving or slipping.

GT2330 Reporter Standard Tripod Series 2 3-Section

The castings are made of Soulid 238, our unique technical compound which is 30% lighter than magnesium but just as strong and wich has great vibration damping properties. We’ve incorporated a Basalt center column (20% lighter than aluminium) for further weight reduction and to improve stabilisation and performance. Most importantly, the aluminum tube used for the legs is also new: 30% lighter than its predecessor, with Anti Leg Rotation system (ALR), 1.2mm wall thickness and brushed matt black finish for improved locking performance and minimised reflectivity. We’ve also put technology to work on the leg warmers: 50% lighter, softer and with a new ergonomic design that maximises grip and comfort when the tripod is carried over the shoulder. New aluminum tripods feature Ground Level Set and removable feet. These tripods come with a convenient anti-dust bag for storage and packing.

The SLIK PRO 340 DX Black compact travel tripod with 3-way pan head makes an excellent traveling companion for your point-and-shoot camera or light-weight Digital SLR. The PRO 340 DX Black is the same tripod as the SLIK PRO 340 DX, but with black finished legs instead of the traditional A.M.T metal finish.

The PRO 340 DX makes setting up easy with secure, speed-release leg locks (example pictured left). Padded leg wraps make the tripod more comfortable to carry.
