a depth down to 5m, the Optio W80 offers outstanding shockproof performance

The Optio W80 can
be used underwater continuously for up to 2 hours at a depth of up to
five meters. It has been rated to the JIS Class 8 Waterproofing standard
as well as the JIS Class 6 Dustproof standard against sand and dust. It
has exceptional coldproof performance for reliable operation at temperatures
as low as –10°C. Photographers will feel confident using the
Optio W80 in almost any outdoor situation from skiing, marine sports and
fishing to outdoor family activities.
The new design of
the Optio W80 protects it against drops of one meter*, ensuring that the
camera is protected from use in harsh shooting conditions as well as occasional
“spills” on dry land.
